Colin creates unique limited-edition prints using the complex art of lino-block printing. Each print is hand-carved from a block of lino, hand-inked and hand-printed. The block is cut away as one colour is printed on top of another and no edition can be repeated.
Colin runs Arthaven Gallery in Greytown, Wairarapa, about an hour from New Zealand's capital city Wellington. Greytown is a charming historic town close to fine wineries. The gallery sells original artworks by New Zealand artists, including prints by Colin Coke. Works include linocut prints inspired by New Zealand's superb landscape and unique plant forms, monprints, etchings, pastels and jewellery.
Colin mails unframed prints overseas - and if you buy a print with an edition number of 24, then you know there are only 24 in the world.
